St. Veronica Parish Mission Statement

We, the Parish Family of Saint Veronica,
are called through Baptism to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ in faith, hope and love.

We strive toward deeper conversion by active participation in the Eucharist
and by being good stewards to one another.

Through vibrant evangelization, a welcoming community and Spirit-led service
we continually challenge ourselves to bear the face of Jesus
like our patroness did as we journey together in unity,
to the glory and honor of God.

Pocketbook Bingo. Thursday, May 2, 2024. Doors open at 6:00PM. Flyer

TICKET PRICE: $35.00 per person. Ticket includes: admittance to event, light refreshments, 1 bingo sheet per game, 1 dauber. Scan the QR code below or click here to Purchase tickets online .

WHAT: 10 BINGO Games, Raffle Baskets and 50/50 Raffle. Light Refreshments will be provided, you are also welcome to bring your own fun (i.e., appetizers and beverages) Table seating can be arranged to accommodate groups of all sizes.

DONATIONS accepted: Cash/Check Donations toward the purchase of raffle basket items. Donate a gift card for restaurants, salons, specialty stores, etc.

Pre-order Raffle Tickets: Raffle tickets may be purchased during the evening of the event. However, to provide you with the best service, we are offering the option to pre-purchase raffle tickets in advance by April 30.
Pre-Packs purchased in advance will be discounted $5.
Reg price $55, pre-order $50. Other raffle tickets are also available to preorder.

Calendar of Events:

  • April 21: Youth Ministry Meeting. Join us for 12:00PM Mass in church, then the YM meeting will follow in the parish hall.
  • April 27: First Eucharist Practice. 2nd graders will practice the Sacrament of First Eucharist in the church at 10:00AM.
  • May 2: Pocketbook BINGO Fundraiser.  All are invited to the pocketbook bingo and basket raffle. Event Tickets are $35. Pre-Pack raffle tickets are now available for pre-sale online and at the parish office. (see information above)
  • May 3: First Friday Mass.  Mass will be held each first Friday of the month at 12:00PM (noon) in the church for the Sacred Heart of Jesus
  • May 4: Sacrament of First Eucharist. 10:00AM and 12:00PM in the Church.
  • May 5: Hospitality Sunday. Join us in the Narthex after the 7:30AM and 10:00AM Masses for hospitality.
  • May 12: Mother’s Day Novena. Mother’s Day Novena envelopes are available in the Narthex. Mothers, living or deceased, will be prayed for at Mass each day, starting on Sunday, May 12 and continuing each day at the 7:30AM Mass through May 21, 2024.
  • May 15 – 29: Eucharistic Miracles Exhibit. St. Veronica will host the Eucharistic Miracles Exhibit based on the works of Blessed Carlo Acutis. Exhibit will be in the Parish Hall.
  • May 17: Confirmation Retreat. 6:00PM – 9:00PM in the Parish Hall. The Confirmation Retreat is an anticipatory celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation. Attendance is MANDATORY for 8th Graders making confirmation. Our host is Colleen Rainer.
  • May 20: Confirmation Practice. 5:00PM in the Church.
  • May 21: Sacrament of Confirmation. 2:00PM and 4:00PM in the Church.
  • May 25: May Crowning of the Virgin Mary. The Legion of Mary, seniors, Our Lady Queen of Apostles, would like invite all to the May Crowning and Procession. The celebration will take place after the 4:00PM Mass with a procession to Mary’s grotto with hymns over speaker. At the grotto we will recite the Rosary along with LOM Tessera prayers. All are invited to return to the parish hall for fellowship.
