The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a program designed to prepare adults to receive the Sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation in the Catholic Church.  The program is for non-baptized adults, adults who were baptized in a non-Catholic Church, and for adult Catholics who are seeking to complete their Sacraments of Initiation.   Weekly classes ensure that all participants are instructed in each aspect of the Catholic faith.  The culmination of the RCIA program is the Easter Vigil, where adults are baptized, or received into the Catholic Church, and confirmed, and receive Jesus in the Holy Eucharist for the very first time.
