Reconciliation

It is God who “forgives sins” in the Sacrament of Reconciliation or Confession.  As the minister of this sacrament, an ordained Catholic priest offers advice, assigns a penance, and gives absolution as a visible sign that reconciliation between the person apologizing to God, God and his Church has taken place.

“Neither do I condemn you.  Go and sin no more.” (John 8: 11)

Forgiveness is not a result of our efforts, but is a gift. It is a gift of the Holy Spirit who showers us with mercy and grace that pours forth unceasingly from the open heart of Christ crucified and risen.

Reconciliation Schedule

  • Saturdays from 2:00 to 3:30 P.M. (in the open area to the right of the altar; temporarily, due to COVID).
